Dr. Gregg W. Anderson
The radio station had told him to paint a picture in words,
to describe the horror and confusion and pain that May night in central Kentucky
when 24 children and three adults died in a fiery church bus crash.
Gregg Anderson a reporter for WKRC Radio in Cincinnati, Ohio
shot his questions along the reporting throng grilling Don Tennison, the pastor
whose church in Radcliff, Kentucky had sponsored the teen trip to a southwest
Ohio amusement park that turned into tragedy. The forum was question and answer:
How many were on the bus? Where were they from? How old was the bus? How did it
cost? Was it safe? Among the sounds of cool professionalism, Anderson's voice
broke in with sudden tenderness: "How can you minister to people like this? What
can you tell them that's going to help?"
That horrible church bus crash and its aftermath is what caused
Gregg W. Anderson to lay down his microphone and pick up a Bible. "I actually
felt Him. He said He wanted to give me a new 'News Assignment' to report the Good
News of Jesus Christ." Now, Anderson an Ordained Minister is the president of
70x7 Evangelistic Ministry. He is also a former interim pastor, youth pastor and
prison chaplain. During his days as the chaplain at the Kentucky State Penitentiary
he was able to pray with and minister God's unfailing love and forgiveness to
inmates he had reported on during his news media career.
His true calling and his real love to serve the Lord is that
of an evangelist or revivalist as he has been called. When he speaks the Anointing
is present and the signs, wonders and miracles follow his Christ centered Holy
Spirit powered messages. The lost have been saved from the ravages of hell and
the saints have been challenged to live on a higher level with Christ.
