An International Ministry doing the Great Commission
In 1993, this ministry which has a central theme of God's never
ending love, forgiveness and power developed into an international work. Chaplain
Gregg as he was known by inmates and staff at the Kentucky State Penitentiary
was asked by the executive director of COPE, the Coalition of Prison Evangelists
to join a team to Estonia and Latvia.
The team would help start chapels and train prison chaplains
after the ungodly Iron Curtain fell. Anderson made these trips a major commitment
and began yearly visits. In 1998 The COPE ministry was completed so the Latvia
portion of the mission was turned over to Anderson and his ministry. He now leads
teams to Latvia. He has now made at least 10 trips to Latvia and is his work for
Christ has expanded and expanded in the Baltic State. He now ministers in several
churches along with the prison work.
In 2001 a new ministry was started when 70x7 began a partnership
with the Latvian Christian Mission to help out at a camp for children and youth.
Anderson can still remember shouting to the Latvian and Russian youth "what's
up" and hearing them with lots of youthful energy reply·JESUS! Anderson stresses
that the power on these short-term mission trips is nothing he can do. It is strictly
the presence and power of God. He has been used to cast demons out of a woman,
pray for the sick, offer works of encouragement and transform sadness into joy
and turn scars into stars to shine for Christ.
Anderson also is a regular on LKR, the Christian Radio station
in Riga, Latvia. Through the help of WFCJ-FM in Dayton, Ohio, Anderson takes boxes
of Christian CD'S to LKR to help expand the music library. With his broadcast
background he is interviewed on a talk show.
His work has not gone unnoticed by the Latvian Prison Administration.
In 1998, Dr. iur. Vitolds Zarhars honored his efforts. The Director General of
the prison administration presented Anderson with a certificate and a badge to
honor his dedication to the Republic of Latvia. Then in 2001, Dr. Zahars bestowed
upon Anderson another certificate for his unfailing work.
His God powered ministry has touched the lives of hundreds
of prison
inmates. God used him to delivered many inmates from the consequences of sin and
set many free of guilt, shame and fear. One Latvian prison inmate told him on
his latest trip that he was actually healed of TB after Anderson and his team
prayed for him.
We are looking for Christians with varied talents and interests

May God's BEST be yours...Gregg
